Le corps qui ne compte plus
Le Corps qui ne compte plus is an object installation developed from a durational performance. In the performance, the author rotated continuously and around until 8 minutes, where counting was no longer possible.
The experiment was repeated three times.
The resulting material is presented in three states: a complete image of the body, a linear and bodily translation, and a version disrupted by oscillators.
The work is based on the assumption that time does not exist independently of perception. Consciousness produces temporal order, and this order shifts as attention destabilizes. As counting breaks down, time loses continuity. Remaining is a feedback between awareness and duration, in which neither can be fixed or measured with certainty.
